The contract, in plain language.

The service

Hashmark is an editorial and analytical companion for franchise mode. We ingest data from the Madden NFL Companion App that you yourself send us. We render it back as recaps, archives, ratings, and league surfaces. We do not modify your game, your save files, or anything on your local machine.

Your account

You authenticate via Discord OAuth. You are responsible for the security of your Discord account. If your Discord is compromised, you should revoke Hashmark's access from Discord's settings and tell us so we can invalidate active sessions.

Your data is yours

You own your franchise data. We hold a license to process it for the purpose of running the service for you. You can export it in full at any time. You can delete it and your account at any time. Once deleted, deletion runs inside 30 days.

Generated content

Editorial recaps, college-career syntheses, voice audio, and other AI-generated content produced by Hashmark from your data are yours to read, share, and quote, within your own personal or league use. Commercial republication of generated content beyond your league requires written permission. Generated content is always labeled as synthesized inside the product.

What you agree not to do

• Upload data you didn't generate yourself from your own franchise
• Attempt to extract real NFL player data or copyrighted EA assets via Hashmark
• Reverse-engineer the Companion App or its encryption
• Probe, attack, or attempt to overload the service
• Resell access to Hashmark to people who don't have an account
• Use Hashmark to harass other users in shared leagues

Subscriptions

Paid tiers bill monthly or annually through Stripe. You can cancel any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no proration is issued for partial periods. Annual rates are flat for the term of the subscription and do not surprise-raise inside an active subscription.

Service availability

We aim for 99.5% monthly availability on the product surface and 99.9% on the ingestion endpoint. We publish status at status.hashmark.football once that page ships. We do not credit downtime under one hour. Studio tier customers may negotiate an SLA in writing.

Termination

You can leave any time. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms, after a written warning where possible. We will return your data to you on request before termination takes effect, in the standard export format.

Liability

Hashmark is provided as is. We do not warrant uninterrupted service or specific fitness for a purpose. Our liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in this section limits liability we cannot lawfully limit (gross negligence, fraud, statutory rights of consumers).

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
