Community

The shape of the room, before the room exists.

Hashmark's community surface — a Discord, a forum register, a place for league operators to compare notes — opens at public beta (Week 14 of the build). What follows is what we're building it to be, so the people who show up early know the room.

What the community is for

  • League operators trading commissioner-tooling patterns
  • Feature requests, scored and visible
  • Editorial discussion — generated recaps, voice, prompts
  • HashmarkIQ methodology debate (the rating welcomes scrutiny)
  • Early sightings of bugs, before they show up in the support queue

What the community is not for

  • Real NFL fantasy advice — not the product's lane
  • Save-file editing or modification of game files — out of scope, off topic
  • Selling, scalping, or trading Hashmark access
  • Harassment of fellow league members or staff

The register, in community spaces

The same register that governs the product governs the community. Restrained, specific, patient. We will not hype. We will not gamify participation. The Discord will not have a points system. The forum will not have a streak badge. The room is built to be useful to people who already know what they came for.

When the room opens

The invite goes out to the early-access list at the same time public beta opens. The first 100 paid users — across any tier — become the founding members of the room, with a persistent flair in product and Discord. The cohort is permanent; the flair does not rotate or expire.

Code of conduct

A formal code of conduct ships with the community. The short version: treat other members the way you would want to be treated at a real beat-writer's coffee. If you would not say it to a peer's face, do not type it into the room.
