# Hashmark — brand assets

Four SVG files. Use bone variants on dark surfaces, charcoal variants on light surfaces.

| `hashmark-mark-bone.svg` | Two bars only. Bone on dark. Default. |
| `hashmark-mark-charcoal.svg` | Two bars only. Charcoal on light. Rare. |
| `hashmark-lockup-bone.svg` | Mark + wordmark. Bone on dark. |
| `hashmark-lockup-charcoal.svg` | Mark + wordmark. Charcoal on light. |

Rules:

- Charcoal mode is the canonical mode. Light variants exist for press use only.
- Wordmark is Source Serif 4 light (300 weight) in these files. The licensed face is Tiempos Headline 300; substitute when typesetting at large display sizes.
- Do not stretch, compress, recolor, or apply effects to the mark.
- Do not place the mark on patterned backgrounds.
- Clear-space minimum equals the gap between the two bars.
